			<h2>Shift Differential</h2>
		</div>
	<p>Full-time employees are entitled to supplemental or shift bonus pay differentials under the following conditions:</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>For employees to be eligible for shift differential of 6% of their base rate, they must work between the hours of 5pm and midnight, referred to as second (2nd) shift.&nbsp; If an employee works more than 50% of their shift during the 2nd shift time frame, the entire shift is eligible for shift differential.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>For employees to be eligible for shift differential of 13% of their base rate, they must work between the hours of midnight and 7am, referred to as third (3rd) shift.&nbsp; If an employee works more than 50% of their shift during the 3rd shift time frame, the entire shift is eligible for shift differential.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>Examples:</p>
<p>An employee works 3pm to 11pm - More than 50% of the shift is in the 2nd shift time frame.&nbsp; The whole shift will be eligible for 6% shift differenital.</p>
<p>An employee works 11pm to 7am - More than 50% of the shift is in the 3rd shift time frame.&nbsp; The whole shift will be eligible for the 13% shift differential.</p>
<p>An employee works 8am to 5pm and is asked to work an evening event that starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm.&nbsp; They would be eligible for two hours of 6% shift differential.</p>
<p>An employee starts work at 6am an works until 2pm.&nbsp; The employee would be eligible for one hour of 13% shift differential.</p>
